Hughe de Grand-M‚t is a dissolute man who lives in a stately home alone but for his secretary, Joyce (never to be mentioned again). Feeling his death approaching he gathers all his descendants in order to decide who is going to be his heir. (The soundtrack mentions the families being stern and serious but sublime Erika Cool and Siegrid Cellier were definitely not fit to embody that!). JoŽl is there with his parents and looking forward to meeting his cousin Catherine. When bored JoŽl goes out and Catherine seems glad to accompany him but ...
Strolling alone on the grounds, JoŽl witnesses his uncle dressed in religious clothes inside his chapel and masturbating while his two female servants are involved with each other and a plastic tool. JoŽl enters and masturbates too until he faints on the steps leading to the altar. The two girls quickly help him recover and the scene ends on him coming into the helpfull mouths.
But JoŽl is still a virgin, and this worries him as the servants enter his room in the morning for a nice little French breakfast including girls and croissants. Only allowed to use his tongue, the boy will not lose his virginity this time. Let's admit that such careful attention from nice little servants can no doubt help in overcoming such a predicament for a while.
JoŽl is next introduced to his uncle who wants to ask him three questions (strangely enough, the first one is logically asked by the nephew or did I miss something? But after four viewings...) 1) Do you want to take me with you? 2) Do you want to live here? 3) Do you like working ? The uncle is satisfied with JoŽl's no and offers him his main treasure - a flute, on condition his nephew tells him what happens when he blows the instrument.
JoŽl tries his flute in his bedroom (outside his father is banging at the door but we will never know why) and notices it has an effect on his penis. The following day, JoŽl meets Catherine fishing by the river. She tries to make friends with him but he's too shy and goes away.
Playing the flute from his window he notices a woman dressed as a widow walking across the lawn. He joins her in the chapel. A few notes from the flute and she's ready for sex and the boy, making the best out of the situation, becomes a man. That's how things go. Not bad for a shy first timer I guess. Without even seeing her face (fancy meeting a veiled stranger in a chapel for a first time?). When he tells his uncle, the old man is more than satisfied.
An evening in JoŽl's family : he gets bored stiff as his father reads out loud Pierre Loti poems and his mother plays the piano. In the same room, behind a folding-screen, the three servants are waiting on each other until the black male servant comes into DaniŤle David's mouth. (Her best scene ever if i may say so. The one you would put on a compilation or as an illustration for her acting instead of a photo).
JoŽl has tender feelings for his cousin who seems to delight in teasing him. A bit further, he comes across the two women he has met before and... Let's put ourselves in his place. What would you do on a sunny afternoon with Erika Cool, Siedrig Cellier and a magic flute? Well I guess he couldn't escape it. Takes his flute out. Plays a few notes. The girls' tits coming out and one thing leading to another... The scene is disrupted (after the boy coming on Erika's ass) by the two hunting husbands who chase him.
Catherine helps him by saying he was with her but when he tries his flute on her, she runs away shocked by his intention and shouting 'rape!' The loving uncle explains that the flute must never be spat in and never swallowed either. When JoŽl again tries his flute on Catherine, this time she reacts and sucks him off after masturbating in front of him. As the boy comes onto her mouth we may wonder why he came alone. That's bad manners for a young man to such a darling sweet little cousin. But the sweet little darling of a cousin doesn't seem to notice (this is a porn porn's world!) and there's no way now of telling her.
The uncle is having a party and first discards the members of the family that he dislikes. All locked playing cards in a room. In the meantime JoŽl will be the only male apart from the servant among the four girls. A little blow on the flute and the dresses fall to the ground. JoŽl has time to notice that his cousin is not there before he is once again in the hands, mouths and pussies of the above-mentioned two marvels. The three servants are once again among themselves but don't seem prejudiced. The uncle dressed as a bishop directs the participants. With night coming, he offers JoŽl another girl (obviously Catherine, but no mention is made of her) who sure knows how to use this mute present.
The uncle dies and leaves his nephew as only heir. The whole disappointed family leave the place to JoŽl (where's Catherine?) who sees the widow outside and once again follows her into the chapel. This time her face is uncovered. She takes the flute, inserts it into her pussy (the flute must not be swallowed, remember?) and leaves JoŽl crying, deprived of his magic instrument . In order to cheer him up, the two servants offer him a trumpet which turns out to be another enchanted instrument. The film ends on JoÍl playing jazz while Catherine dances and strips. in the background, the black male servant is snapping his fingers to the rhythm.
I just don't understand why the film makes no allusion to Mozart's ZauberflŲte. Ain't there another title for this film (la flŻte enchantťe?). Well, with its beautiful girls, its lack of consistency, its terrible dubbing and music - but i guess the music was only there to cover the squeaking and squealing of the velvet and steel chairs in the theatres, a nice film from the good old days though.
