Notes and Reviews

The film begins with a failed bank robbery, clearly inspired by The Wild Bunch. When the robbers shoot their way out, they take two female hostages, the town whore (Alice Arno) and some respectable woman (Arancio); obviously, they will have their way with either of them. The town compiles a posse that goes on the pursuit. The outlaws find temporary refuge in a brothel (run by van Ammelrooy), but soon they have to move on. Although the posse quickly disintegrates, an army soldier (Jacques Insermini) follows the villains on his own, and picks them off one by one. Another relentless pursuer is a mysterious Indian (Jean-Marie Pallardy), apparently a friend of Arno. Eventually the robbers run out of water, lose their nerve and shoot each other.

The sex content is confined to the rapes and the brothel scenes at the beginning and the middle of the film. There are two hardcore inserts, Barbara Moose with Charlie Schreiner, and Liliane Lemieuvre with Richard Lemieuvre.
