Ultimately you are correct... We just want a professional outfit.

But look at businesses - they aint happy with making a profit - each year they have to do better than the previous year, and the one before that, and the one before that....

Cost is going to be an issue in all of this - regardless of the fact that ultimately we ask the question "what price a life"... The service has to be ACCESSIBLE and if costs start spiralling - where will that leave us...

Admittedly - it's here and now that matters. but these are issues that BAIHA must concern itself with if it is going to build and look to the future.

I don't disagree with the principal, its the practice thats going to be virtually impossible.

How is this information to be released? On a web site? To anybody who rings up? Who should have access to the information? Anybody who wants it? Industry professionals (and who sorts out the pros from the "camera owner with a bit of webspace" idiots?)

Like I said, I don't have a problem with what is being proposed, I support the principal, I simply can't see it working within the confines of British law, without some sort of honesty playing a big part.
We have need of you again, great king.

We have not even got a standard for an STD test and you have worked out it will have spiralling costs. or Virtually impossible Nice one. Its time to stop doubting and start supporting if you think all we did at the meeting we had was strip of and have a shag your wrong (well appart from Faye). All the issues were raised and as we are using true professionals for guidance and they attended the meeting and have been in constant contact with us we are going down the correct road. As for the law hello this is McC here I don't give two flying fiks about the law I care we get this sorted so I don't have freinds ringing me up crying they got told by a fikwit they can get HIV through the eye.

Get real guys a post supporting the cause is all you need to do and let the team work.

Hi All,
Well last time i went stateside was last year for bit,But i'm now not doing any more in America(Last year was my last time),
Well i got my new Certificates but Like everyone else i am only going to do Condom shoots only(It something Dan Dare said on another thread)I don't know which models went to the USA at that time of the month.(I've a vague ideal who does do stuff in US but like i said i don't who went at that time of the month)

This is scary,I actually spoke to and chattted to Simone Claire on Saturday about this story(She was in Absolute shock, she thought i was joking at first, when she realised i wasn't fucking about and was on phone for half a hour),I spoke to simone because at the time she was having plans to go to America,But she was going in the Summer instead but i told her not to bother until this is sorted(gladly she listened to me and took my advice,)She might go later in the year but in the meantime she happy doing her other means of work in this country(i'm hoping to see her next week for a jolly good chat as it coming up to her birthday soon)

I 'm getting bookings for work but i'm mostly getting glamour art/nudity work and soft stuff/promos(which i really don't mind, but as well doing other lines of work, that's non adult)

I do have a question though,(maybe its me being paranoid) but there saying the industry opens it doors again to shoot on the 8th June (Tuesday),Is it me or does anybody in the industry(models)thinks this date is a tad to early to be shooting hard core content again(without condoms).I was thinking more roughly around the 28th June 2004 that way industry will know everything is 100% fine.
the reason i say that is it only needs 1 to slip through the net(somebody who using a clean certificate but could be infected still but results haven't 100% confirmed) and 2 months later we back to this shit again or like i said is it just me being paranoid.

Reading the above post's, I see Layla is not aware of BAIHA and the plan to set a UK standard. This was being discussed before the HIV problems in the States. At this time there were people moaning about having to have a full HIV & STD test that was under 30 day's old, I am glad to see that this has fallen away and people can see the importance of a full 30 day test.

BAIHA is currently in discussions with a private clinic with regards setting up nationwide test centres. We have gone to the private industry as the NHS can not supply a complete standard service as they are not set up for this. One of the most important things about these tests, is that is there was a problem over here we would like to be able to trace everybody quickly so to contain it, as AIM have been able to do. At this time, everybody are getting different tests from everywhere. We will hopefully have a confirmed package by the BAIHA meeting on the 6th May.

I would like to thank Jim for the page he is giving us in the magazine and all the support he has shown from the very start, and I will be working on getting this page to you shortly Jim.

We are also working on the BAIHA.org website and that will be up shortly with information guidelines for members.

Once again I would like to thank everybody for the support shown for BAIHA and look forward to seeing as many producers and performers at the meeting on the 6th May.

Hi Layla.
I hope will be a solution really soon, but will need everybody's help.
A lot of US Pornstars will make only Girl/Girl from now and forever.
That's good for me, because I love Lesbian Stuff.
I've checked for DVDs featuring you, but they are Hetero.
Did you make a Lesbian movie featuring ONLY girls?
I'm male, but I don't like Hetero Stuff.
Really Thanks, and please, take care of yourself about the AIDS issue.

PS: Thanks for being so CUTE!
