"18" Rated Adult DVDs...what's in 'em?

I was just browsing through play.com's surprisingly extensive adult section, and saw a pretty large British selection at pretty low prices...(sorry, sounding like and ad )....but then of course I realized they're all 18's as oppossed to 18R's....

Now it's been a good while since I bought an 18 adult title.....I think it was the Playboy Jo Guest...and I remember in that the camera assiduously avoided going anywhere between Jo's legs....and I think we all know she's not usually shy in that respect, so I assumed that was for the 18 rating.

So have things improved since then? Do we get open legs now? Or open pussy even? I mean I know to avoid labels like Liquid Gold etc...but what about other stuff? Worth it for ?7.99? Or should I stick to the imported stuff and 18R's?

Depends on the mood of the censors. You can go and rent a Hollywood made DVD of a 2003 film "The Centre of the Earth" rated 18 which features a breif shot of a girl actually sticking a lollypop up her fanny, taking it out and putting it in a guy's mouth (in a different shot). Full frontal, pussy open, the lot. And erotic drama at most, but it was allowed to show that. And yet I suspect if you rented a new rated 18 Amateur Birds from Basingstoke, oit would be the usual tame old, tame old.

The film with Kerry Fox was Intimacy. The actor who got the blow job was Mark Rylance, who is artistic director of The Globe theatre, which I visited last night, coincidentally.

I was fortunate enough to attend an early screening of the film and managed to talk to Kerry Fox afterwards - a really friendly and down-to-earth person. She had recently become a mother and, while we were talking, she whipped out a breast and started to feed her baby. Lovely.
