Ordering from Fiona Cooper

Post by dave »

I've been trying various times to order from this site - secure server and direct through the e-amil. Every time I get a mail back saying they were unable to process my order - no explanation and they ignore my replies.

Is anyone else getting this problem?

I'd seriously recommend never sending your credit card details by email:)
I got their latest leaflet yesterday so I'm pretty sure they are still in business, are you paying with a valid card type/expiry date etc? Maybe printing out the order form and paying by cheque is the answer, they are very fast delivering your order and you'll also get the full catalogue and a pre-paid envelope for future orders.

Yes. That's exactly what happens to me. They send orders back and ignore other email.

It started happening in about February this year. I'd been ordering with no problems for ages before then.

Yeah, tried that. They returned the letter/cheque with a one line note saying they could not process the order at this time. No explanation or anything. I was wondering if they had wound up or not

At a guess I would imagine it's due to The Old Bill leaning on them over their well uncertificated videos. Also, I did hear on the old adult grapvine during the latter half of last year that the firm was up for sale.

Not sure where you got your info from, but I've been ordering from them for years, first by post with c/c number and now i fax my orders through. In all this time all my orders bar one have taken less than 7 days to reach me from the moment of posting/faxing my order. The odd one went awry at XMas time 3 years ago and never turned up. A replacement for the order was forthcoming after nothing had turned up after the obligatory 28 days.
Had their latest leaflet for the latest lesbian collection on video/DVD through the post the other day. Haven't placed an order in a few months now, but I've never ever had problems with the company.

Yes, did that - but no explanation as to why the order was refused
