Mail Order ban?

What is the effect on the jo public.If order dvd's mail order will it be confiscated . Customs have opened my last 2 orders but sent them through,previous to that i have ordered form the UK and Europe no problem.

No effect on you, it's only traders who shouldn't sell from within the UK. But I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to change the rules on importation because this government does have a bit of a Nazi streak to it and custom officers are the sort of numbskulls who like to carry out repressive laws (the drug snuffer dogs are more intelligent than the handlers ... at least they have a personality). Only thing that will stop them are EU laws, but from the US or elsewhere they can make the rules up as they go .... but then again that's what customs have always done (I think you need an IQ of about 40 to work for them - 50 will get you a job at Ofcom).
