Just wanna put my tuppence in Ben (and everyone else)...I am a white man (of Italian extraction funny enough), but I actually prefer exotic women, especially Black. Mr Dover, thanks for your input. My inquiry into the subject was to find out what people thought about the subject---especially those like yourself, who are in the industry and thus able to let yer ordinary punter like me know roughly what goes on. Your comments on the clubs are interesting in that they show pretty much what Woodgnome was suggesting--a lack of imagination rather than any out-and-out racism.
I don't think I was being particularly PC. I was looking for information and education, no more, and most of the responses (your own included) have helped enormously. And if I was to accuse anyone in the industry of being racist (which I can't because I don't know enough about it) I certainly wouldn't be pointing the finger at you. I have a number of your films and have no complaints about anything you get up to in them.
Some of the stuff that's been going in the UK since September 11 has made me wonder about racism. I'd always thought it was a relatively minor problem in my area of the country (I'm a Sweaty Sock), but have had to listen to ignorant arseheads calling for such things as boycotts of Asian shops and for Asians to be forced to speak only English so that "we'll know what they're saying about us."
Off topic? Yes. But it made me think about the adult industry in the UK (and the glamour side of things) and question why the main focus of attention appears to be on the nordic blonde rather than the latin brunette or the Caribbean beauty. And so I asked a question, asking if there was some kind of racist undertone, and I got some replies which helped change my outlook.
If you found my original question offensive, then I'm sorry but I was just looking for information.

No offence taken me old mate the noo! And I didn't get censored which is nice! It's just that sometimes some people assume that every girl out there wants to do a Ben Dover vid, and it's my lazy fault for ignoring them. "Why don't you get that Charmaine Sinclair in one of your videos. She's done hardcore before so you must not like black girls, otherwise you'd shoot her". that type of thing.
