I've followed the various posts here with interest. I have no axe to grind. I've been buying from FC for about five years, have only been on the net a year or so, and have no connection with the industry save as a paying customer. When it emerged, en passant, a number of months back that said company was being run by Mr Sutcliffe I was at first a little disturbed. But you cannot judge everyone by their relatives as my uncle Charlie Manson would say. The product has always been good, imho, the service second to none, and I've had no gripes with the company at all.
If, however, there are allegations about the way some of the models have been treated, that's a different matter entirely. Phil and the Doctor and Woodgnome may make reference to inside rumours about the company/owner, but your average punter has no way of knowing what's going on. This is one area where we do have the right to know. I don't know the precise nature of the allegations (although I can guess) but feel I should if I'm going to continue to bankroll this firm.
I have an uncomplicated view of life: I tend to trust people until I'm proved wrong. If I have been wrong, I need clues. I'll probably still wait to hear it from the horse's mouth before I fully believe it, but it is still better to know if something dodgy is going on.
I've never met Chanta, but I trust her--and if she has a good reason never to work for FC again then I'm very worried about continuing to deal with them. We don't want to get the law involved in censoring this site, but I repeat--there are things we need to know.

I agree. I've been buying from the company for over ten years and never had a problem with their service. Very professionally run operation...or at least it appears from the customers' side.

However if there are any wrongdoings as regard to the treatment of models, I will no longer be buying from them. It's odd that this matter has only recently been brought to our attention considering how long they have been operating.

I for one have foregone placing an order from their latest catalogue and for the forseeable future, until some light is shed on this matter.
