the reason i was looking to trade for a one eyed jack title is that almost ?30 is just ludacris and i am happy with the quality of second generation tapes i got have dick will travel through trading the picture quality is great and it cost me 39p for a jiffi pack ?1 for a blank tape and 84p for postage so you see why i am looking to trade rather than buy

The problem is using this site to do it when we rely on the good will of the producers of this stuff who are being ripped off.

yes but when people say trade even the producers do not think people are trading origanals i think that they just accept it

This is a difficult one, as Alec is saying that we use this site to trade but the site is sponsored by well known producers
Its a fine balancing act keeping everyone happy.

I suggest you read the numerous messages in this forum by producers about piracy. They are not confined to complaints about large-scale piracy.

I accept that we are trying to draw a diffuclt line here as anyone who has bought porn videos in the Uk in the last 20 years has bought pirate copies as it was often the only way of getting hold of the things. In addition this site is interested in 'historical research' and many of the films we would like to find out about are just unavailable except as copies ultimately obtained from private collectors. However, we do not approve of copying videos which are easily available to buy, and that is the line we try to draw, although it obviously involves guesswork. If this guesswork causes troll threads like the one I just deleted where it was obvious to anyone who has watched this forum in the last few days that several of the posts were made by the same person, and if people are unwilling to show some sense, then we might be forced to delete ALL messages about trading.
