HC on satellite...

I have sky digital and apparentley its impossible to get any HC stuff.
Can someone tell me what sort of system (dish, decoder etc) I need to get.
I saw a few systems in a satellite tv guide but jeez there is so much stuff its all a bit confusing. Also the prices are a bit steep, hubdreds of ?'s.

You need a digital satellite reciever with the CAM ( conditional access module ) that you need to recieve the particular channel/s you are interested in.
Look in What Satellite for mail order dealers and information.
There is no real cheap option as you have to get genuine subscription cards now because pirate cards are no longer sold.

I am something of an expert on this. And it can be done cheaper than what some sat dealers will tell you. Pirate cards are still available from loads of dealers they just do not mention it in the adverts. My local sat shop does a wafer card which unlocks hundreds of channels which use seca/mediaguard encryption including four 24 hour channels. In addition to the dedicated porn channels you get porn on the regular pay movie channels of which there are hundreds. The card costs ?20. It needs updating once a month which you can do yourself from the internet or pay the satellite shop ?10 to do it for you.
You need a reciever with a cam for whichever encryption type you want. Cost ?200-?300. And a 70cm dish aimed at Astra 19.2 east (same sattelite as sky analogue) or Hotbird. Or both satellites with two universal lnb`s fixed to your dish which is what I have. I have been into the hobby for years and have used both official and unofficial cards. It can be confusing at first but I suggest posting on the forum at www.satellites.co.uk. They are all satellite experts and even have a section of the forum for porn. They have some faqs aswell. The initial cost can run to about ?400 but it will save you money on videos. And you get more than just porn-footy, films, mtv, discovery etc etc etc

so,what was that stuff you said about 30 free hard core channels on the old analogue service?

Sorry me. I meant to say there are loads of hardcore channels (more than 30 if you include regular movie channels which show hardcore some nights) on the same satellite (Astra 1) as Skys analogue service which are in digital. This means that if you still have the dish for sky analogue on your house and it has a universal lnb (which most will if they are less than 7 years old) then you could connect any normal digital reciever to the old dish and get the euro stuff including all the porn. If the dish is a bit knackered you would be better replacing it with a 80cm twin feed which would also get you europes second main sattelite. The rest of Europe uses recievers which are all the same standard and can be fitted with plug in CAMs for any type of scrambling system. Sky decided to make thier digibox completely uncompatible with the rest of Europe coz Murdoch did not want to give us the choice to watch programs from europe. A proper reciever as used in Europe will allow you to pick and choose what you watch.
