I ordered some videos from this company on 27/11/01. Needless to say I haven't received them. They igore the points I make in my e-mails and just send a standard response saying they're in the post.
Has anyone ordered from this company and received their order? How long did it take? They actually promised 48 hour dispatch.
Also, what action should I take to get my money back. They have a UK address - who would be the best organisation to complain to.

Ive had the same trouble with them but if you only ordered recently it might be the christmas mail slowing everyhting down in the UK.

Just keep emailing and complaining weekly, and if you dont get them by the end of the month then there might be something up but I have had faulty tapes and he has sent out other films in a rush with no complaints so i think they are trust worthy just a little slow.

If you believed 48-hour dispatch you were very naive. Most companies at least wait for cheques to clear, especially for new customers. Also 'companies' is an exaggeration - we are not talking about large warehouses and dozens of highly trained staff here.
27 November is three weeks ago - not all that long, especially as we are now in the Christmas post rush.
I have ordered from them before several times and the videos have always arrived, though I haven't ordered recently. The time taken varied from 10 days to a few weeks.
Since they are operating illegally you have no chance of complaining to anyone.

I've ordered from them twice and both times the videos came through in about 2 weeks. If you are waiting for cheques to clear this is about as quick as it can be. I would say the above points about Christmas post are valid so it's probably just a matter of waiting

I have checked this site and found SARAH YOUNG, Sarah & Friends, Pt. 10 on it. Video 55 min., and even Video on CD. Such thing does not exist, also this people have no rights to do this. For me this is a crime organization who pirates and violates my rights.

People who do this should be banned, but unfortunatelly this is fact in UK since more than 20 years.

If memory serves me correctly this is the outfit that tapes thier films from satellite TV. Very easy and very small overheads. If so the only copyright theft is from the various satellite channels who bought and own the legit rights to broadcast the films. I hope that makes you feel a bit better Sascha as your company will have been paid by the TV station.

Small comfort to a producer who's paid peanuts by a TV operator when the video sales team are raking in countless quids from gullible punters.

And that's what happens when you have an unregulated pirate business because legit hardcore isn't available via mail order in the UK. Ever get the feeling you're stuck in a loop?!

I do believe you Sascha. A pirate company will find thier tapes from various places not just satellite. I am not defending them. As David Spenser points out this sort of thing happens because of the stupid UK law which makes it illegal to sell hardcore by mail order. Most people live a long way from a sexshop and if they could legally buy by mail order the pirates would be out of business. Some films are hard to find and thats why people buy from pirates. But where there is a choice most people will use a proper company because of the improved picture quality and after sales service.

i've ordered from this outfit a couple of
times and whilst tapes arrive eventually a point that has been overlooked is quality-some tapes received have been so bad as to be unwatchable--my advice is steer clear!
