MY VIEWS ABOUT THE ADULT INDUSTRY

The adult industry has got bigger & bigger over the years & earnings have decreased so you have to be known or very lucky to make a good living from it.
Like gay for pay money don't make an actress any better because you have to really like what you do.
I have never worked for another company because even though i need the money like anyone else i make films because i enjoy the buzz, i couldn't be paid enough to act a part if the buzz was not there as it shows on screen, like i said earlier in this thread girls now have better conditions than ever before & now can decide what part of the industry is best for them.
We know girls who have been starring in movies for years & yet they have not shot any movies themselves which is crazy, the industry will soon dump them when they have starred in to many movies or have got older etc.
A box of your material under the bed is insurance for the lean times ahead because even though you may be at the top of the ladder now the industry is cold & will chew you up & spit you out when its finished with you...

Sorry Jack but that's not true. I never rated myself as a photographer and made a lot of money shooting pretty or very pretty girls with a look on their face that says yes.

Girls have to be good to be getting 2K these days and they have to sell. The days of the easy sale are over.

It depends on the girl & if she as sex appeal not the camera, money or hype from rich companies & advertising. The industry is so over saturated with pretty young girls that the markets now fell out of that niche.
I tell new videographers & photographers to look on sites like adult youtube etc & see what the the top 25 video's/photo groups are & shoot that, you would be surprised what is popular to what people actually do shoot because they are to set in their ways to change.

The market has not fallen out of the pretty girl with sex appeal market, main stream, teens or any of the other big niches. It's dominated by a few big players and it's tough to get into.

As for a girl having sex appeal. Why do shooters, shoot girls without sex appeal? They end up shooting "Filler" content. The attitude of many is sending traffic is the solution to all problems and girls think they're in charge and can fake their way through a scene. I've met many a girl with sex appeal off camera who would not do it real in front of the camera.

Looking at a site like Youtube shows what the girl does for her boyfriend Getting her to do that for a shooter takes control, direction and skills. Or just tell her to go work at Tescos. LOL
