Will the xxx industry ever move its sorry ass to Europe?

Will they ever get tired of the bullshit?

I'm starting to think the mothers like being attacked.

Yeah this happened a few days ago. I spoke to the guys there
the next day. It seems very over the top to send so many agents
just to get a few screening copies of some tapes to see what
the material is like. I am sure if the FBI asked nicely EA would
have happily given them tapes to watch.

The fight is about to get worse I am sure with Dubya in control.

Just have a read of this from AVN to see what the rest of the
world is really dealing with as far as the real people comprising
the think tanks that Dubya is listening to:

Much as I detest the Extreme Associates type shit and believe they, and others like them, are dragging porn into the gutter, I would vigorously defend their right to waste good videotape on whatever crap movies they felt inclined to produce. As one of them said in the article - all they are guilty of is bad taste. The problem is that if the Feds are successful against Extreme, then maybe they might fell emboldened to go after some who was slightly less extreme. Obviously this process could eventually lead to ordinary fuck and suck producers being targeted and we would enter another porno ?Dark Age.?

The best way to deal with Extreme Associates and their ilk is to engage in a campaign similar to the ?Drink Driving? campaign here and create a climate where folks felt embarrassed about digging that type of material ? get the message over that it?s dirty, degrading and pointless. That it?s not big, it?s not clever and it?s certainly not cool. Then when sales dry up Extreme Associates would simply go away of their own volition or maybe start to make more palatable shag films featuring attractive performers and straight fucking ?n? sucking. Hmm, now there?s a radical thought.

EA will no doubt be changing their output over the next couple of months. Attention from the feds because of judgements in taste is not something they will want to encourage.

That's certainly not the impression Rob Black gave in that piece.
Still, it's early days.....in a way, I'd almost welcome a porn version of the Volstead Act- it seems legislators only ever get the message when their innovations are made to look ridiculous by being comprehensively ignored.

Hmmm. Still a fan of Dubya now Dibble? You admire his ability to kick the arses of "third world nutmegs" but as I suspected your not so keen on his administrations anti porn crusade.

Clinton on the other hand was pretty cool with porn. But hey far be it from me to suggest that the infingements of our civil liberties go hand in hand with allowing these fuckers into office. But funnily enough it was the Tories who lightened up the porn legislation here.in the UK........but that doesnt suprise me as I have long been of the opinion that New Labour were very much more right wing and fascistic than the Tories. Infact some Conservative MPs such as Ken Clark speak far more sense than the Labour lot and I often think they are in the wrong party.

Just like in Yes Minister Lobby groups that set the agenda

Politicians are just puppets doing these groups bidding

If it weren't for the extreme religious right(the ones that want all schools in America to say the Lords Prayer every morning) in America...Porn wouldn't get half the bad press or undeserved attention that it does

The land of the free...what a joke

cheers

Indeed Buttsie but I think its the tabloid press that set the agenda in the UK at the moment and not just lobby groups. Yes Minister was a good show but Tony Blairs bunch have done away with all that old fashioned stuff and instead they employ people to manipulate the media(these people such as Alistair Campbell are chosen for their ability to "spin" a story to suit Das Fuhrer Tony). And this media driven governments deception actually works which is a sad endictment on the intellegence of your average Brit.

The religious right are a dangerous bunch of people in the USA (our equivelant here is Daily Mail readers) but the Bush admin is strange and peculiar bunch of folk. Have you seen that dreadfull looking woman (I think she is deputy defence) who looks like a trashy old trailer park whore? Shes got a very ugly face and looks like a bitter 48 year old street whore who lives in Texas. Dreadfull woman! She really does look evil and if the USA had spin doctors of our caliber they would keep her off the tv because she looks more unpleasant than any of the tyrants that they are hoping to kill.
