As a genuine loather of Man Utd, I would LOVE to expose Becks as a chutney ferret, BUT he has a VERY clever agent that has obviously found him a niche in the gay market. Becks dresses a bit camp, has attended parties, film premieres and fashion shows with well known gay celebraties and as a result, is adored not only by budding 8yr old soccer star kids, teenage girls and louts on the terraces, but also by masses of gay fans who wear the replica club shirt where a handsome profit goes to Mr Beckhams already bulging coffers. No, Becks aint bent, even if his free kicks are. Mind you, I can point the finger at a few at Chelsea that 'play for the other side'

Incidently Healer, you will find cockneys and other Londoners are loyal to their home town club, be it shitty teams like QPR, Crystal Palace, Millwall or Charlton before they support the Mancs. You tend to find 'glory supporters' of Man Utd in the home counties or from a city whos own team are shite, ie, Coventry or Derby. A cockney (Eastender) will support West Ham even when relegated than admit to supporting Man Utd
