Most magicians especially those that have made TV specials aren't worth watching because its all done by trick photography

Now Houdini on the other hand

Are you saying that Houdini wouldn't have used trick photography if he was performing on TV today? He used other sorts of tricks, concealed picklocks etc.
Now D.D.Home, he was something else.

He had his appendix ruptured by a punch. He wasnt 'braced' and got clangged a good 'un. It ruptured or burst his appendix and he died in agony.
