That would probably be his Hacienda days, I used to go, never went 'downstairs' though if you know what I mean, but saw/met some fun people, I dont include AW on that list, now it,s another poxy city living develpoment, very sad, used to go to the Boardwalk and Roadhose as well, oh! and Yates,s, fuck me a big pop-up just appeared on me screen!bastard spyware....

Sound as pound mate. Bangin' kickin' hardcore. You didnt miss much by not going downstairs. The whole atmosphere was spoiled when people started bringing guns into the place. And then after that shooting incident it was curtains for the place.
Dont mention that AW twat though. I have already been told off by WG for abusing celebs. And I reckon AW counts as a z-list celeb. When he was managing the Mondays on tour in Jamaica he got really pissed off when they nicked all the furniture from the studio and took it downtown Kingston and sold it to buy drugs. They all got wrecked and AW was very angry about the bands antics. How does a posh git like him end uprunning a place like the Hacienda? All the club owners in my neck of the woods are hardcases and gangsters not AWs.

The music was good though Magoo, everyone used to say my mate/pal, even when they didn,t know you! 'alright my mate' yep, 'sorted' but it got very voilent in there, all about drugs and who controlled them, north v south manchester, you can still see AW today, if you go into the Atlas bar, their all in there, I think he,s mis-understood! still a twat, but mis-understood. layt-or.
