At the risk of further provoking you, and bearing in mind how much abuse you've been flinging at people you wanted to get on-side in your original post, could you answer the question asked several times in that thread:

Why should we care about your beloved hunting being banned when it's obvious you hold us, and most of the rest of the planet in complete contempt?

A bloke I know works for a newspaper up here in Sweaty Land. On the night of the Dunblane massacre, amid all the horror and the grief and the disbelief at such an atrocity, his office received a phone call from the secretary of a gun club saying how awful it was that people were calling for a clampdown on guns. If Hamilton had used a golf club, would they want golf banned? And so on. Not one word of regret at what had happened to all those innocent kids and their teacher, not a moment's thought for the heartache their families and that small community were going through. The prick was just worried someone might take his toys away.

That's what it boils down to with you, EJ. The rights or wrongs of the argument are incidental. It's something you and your chums take pleasure in, and that's reason enough to carry on. No amount of stories of packs swarming into people's gardens and ripping an animal to pieces in front of young children will make you think twice about it.

Sweeping Generalisations are always dangerous and rarely paint an accurate picture

Class Systems/Pecking Order exist the world over in both Urban & Rural Communities

In small country communites this is eroded away simply down to the lack of numbers.If theres one pub in town well of course the tertiary educated lawyer is going to be mixing with the blue collar,land owner or white collar workers.

In that sense they are very similar to internet forums like this one
People who would otherwise probably not give each other the time of day do.

Wether this interaction means they become friends is less clear

Evidence still says that people of similar ilk as I have mentioned congregate together which is clear when you move to an Urban community
