Yep, got me as well, Liz, I tried your advice, but where do I search? I have tried activating my Norton and it locates the 2 viruses, but can't delete it, anymore recommendations?

If your norton anti-virus has found the 2 viruses it should have ask you wether to repair or not.If it couldn't repair them it would have neutralised them by putting them into quarantine- i believe this is as good as being deleted anyway

If your still worried by the specific viruses do a search under the virus name at forums.

I take it you mean when you ran Norton again you found them again?

You would because they are still in quarantine awaiting your instructions to delete or restore. The whole point of quarantine is to remove the initial threat of the trojan/virus and give you time to make sure deleting it won't effect your computer

Another smaller point if your running Adaware for detection make sure you go into Settings and cover as much of your computer as possible. The initial settings are very limited...after I tinkered with my settings(top right) it went from searching through 6000 files to 40000 files and dug up another 9 nasties buried deep down in the registry.Time consuming but worth it IMHO.

I also run spybot which some times picks up stuff adaware misses and vice versa

Make sure you update them regularly
