I think there are a few large denomination notes that are only used for internal puposes within the Bank of England. I seem to recall a ?1m being mentioned on a Discovery Channel type programme, but I may be wrong.

Yes, you are right, thay are a bugger to forge. I've been trying for years otherwise I would have flooded the market by now.

i had a 20 once and was dreading changing it via my ride to piccadilly circus ,but it worked out ok i got a free ride that day.
