A guess, but if the DVD has a file-structure that can be located in Windows Explorer (i.e. in the appropriate DVD Drive, analogous to the breakdown you get when you insert a CD-ROM), you ought to be able simply to copy them to another part of your Hard Drive (although I suspect that in order to spike this tactic they'd be encoded on the disc as Read-Only files).

Hit the print screen button on the keyboard and then paste the image into your photo editing software e.g. Microsoft Paint, Paintshop Pro etc.

You should be able to open the said images with your default Image Viewing program for whatever fild type is on the DVD (JPEG, GIF, etc). Then use that programsown default File Save-As Function to save a copy to the Hard Drive.

Thanks guys, I can't find the images on the DVD file list. They play as a slide-show so its a bugger.

You could try capturing the stills gallery on the DVD by using a capture frame on your PC DVD player software. I use a the PowerDVD software to play my dvds on the pc...theres a camera symbol on it. If you click it once it will capture any still image, menu, or moving picture that is playing on your dvd. I think most other PC DVD software should have this function as well.
Thats just an alternative way you could get the pics, if you could work out how to use your stills capture on your PC dvd player.

Good luck
