The thing that pisses me off about crusties is their monumental pretentiousness. As you rightly point out Ben, almost to a man (and woman) they are the offspring of wealthy, or comfortable, middleclass parents. Yet they affect the sartorial style of the gypo and talk unbelievable bollocks about class warfare and anti-globalization! What a set of twats! But the most irritating aspect of crusties is the apparent unshakable zeal in the cause they have adopted, which somehow seems to evaporate over the next ten to fifteen years as they land jobs as solicitors, bank managers, company execs, buy a ?500,000 gaff and get a tidy new Merc on a 3 years lease! Were they just having a laugh as they stormed the barricades at Cancoun?
