I also find it easier to piss and moan about bad product/service by letter/e-mail/credit card company, rather than travel back to the shop and argue the toss with Mr Neanderthal and his prognathous throwback relatives.

In response to golostruda's first reply, I realise that it's cheaper to buy Evil Angel DVDs in Soho (having purchased quite a few on my last visit) but, the number available is limited at the moment(compared to Orgazmik who seem to stock every American EA DVD yet released). In addition, the American versions usually have a fair amount of extras and, in the case of the four DVDs I've just ordered, there are extra scenes which do not appear in the videos nor in the UK versions.

Finally, I would suspect that the R18 Evil Angel DVDs have had at least some interference from our firends in Soho Square??

In fact around 30% of the UK population lives in the South East (a smidgeon over 10% in Greater London itself). Another 4 to 5% regularly commute to the London area from outside the South East, with (at a guesstimate) perhaps 20 to 30% more visiting the capital at least once a year (whether to visit friends or relatives, for work purposes, conferences, shopping trips, catching flights, etc). Certainly I would be very surprised if less than half the UK population visited the London area each year. Not sure why my use of Soho as an example of a place to buy porn should have caused such ire. Soho is the centre of porn shop retail in the UK, the same way Amsterdam or Hamburg could be seen as the centre of window/street prostitution in Western Europe, or the San Fernando Valley as the world centre of porn production. It's hardly banging the drum for the capital to simply point this out. And, as I have mentioned before, I don't live in London - I live more than 50 miles away, but just choose to visit Soho once a month to do my 'shopping'. Incidentally, the reason I go on about this so much is that I only discovered the newly dirty world of R18 two or three months ago, having previously steered clear of shops and relied on mail order myself, so maybe I'm still just a bit excited (and evangelical) over the fact that you can finally get filth legally in this country. But I promise never to mention Soho again as it upsets people so.

It's not Soho: apart from the seedinesss, it's full of history AND some normal people actually LIVE there. Coupla good pubs also.
