When I was still in the Dark Ages and using Windows98 I saved pics and vids from ContentIE5, a series of subfolders of TempIntFiles. I can't find this in WindowsXP. Is it there?

Saving viewed material.
Re: Saving viewed material.
Yes
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
Replace 'Owner' with whatever user you are logged on as.
Reason it is this way in XP is so each user has their own cache.

Other ways to get files are:
1) From within IE: Tools - Internet Options - Settings - View Files
2) From Desktop: Right Click IE icon - Properties - Settings - View Files
You can copy from the window it opens.

Thanks but that doesn't get me to ContentIE5 which contains other viewed files. I've got that info. fom a MS newsgroup now.
The way to get there is SEARCH> %homepath%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5 and that takes you to a number of folders with alpha-numeric names.
