I think Wendys offer to organise this is very good of her. It wont be an easy job. I would have agreed with JJ earlier but I thought the rest of you would do a better job of slapping him on the back than me what with my sore wrist (no wanking jokes please).

The only slight problem with that date is the ensuing hangover for those people who need to get up by 10am the following morning to hit the pub for England's first World Cup match (v Sweden, KO 10.30am, 2nd June). Time to test that "hair of the dog" theory, I guess...

The secret is not to stop drinking.
For the entire duration of England's run.
And then to carry on in commiseration.

What do you mean TEST the hair of the dog theory? I am always still drunk on a saturday or sunday morning and more often than not I have been up all night when I arrive at my local at 11am.

Soft southern shandy drinker!
