6/1 for Hewitt beating Federer in the semis seems a rather good,not to mention 10/1 to win the tournament

I guess they think Federer with his 34-0 grass court record & 7-0 recent record over Hewitt is untouchable but the way I see it,the longer someone goes unbeaten means their getting closer to being beaten.

Hewitt had a similar record over Federer before the 7-0 run started & Safin proved in the semi-final of the Australian Open Federer is human

Hewitt is incredibly arrogant, even among the world of tennis. I feel it'll be a Federer victory, with Venus Williams in the women's events.

By the way, do you think ear defenders are needed when taking the enthusiastic Ms Sharapova to the heights of passion?

Hewitts demeanour on the court is all about making the opponent lose focus.His 'come on' catch cry when an opponent has made a mistake
is a classic example.Seen as arrogant but for mine its mental gamesmenship

Nice guys with impeccable manners but wasn't that the reason tennis was boring everybody to death a few years ago...too many nice guys who turned up played some nice shots but showed no emotion

I'll take a bit of needle/expression and the Officials being chewed out & opponents getting upset(Taylor Dent) than the usual unemotional ping pong which holds less interest than watching moths mating

I'd guess the sharapova grunt would be a problem but only when she's got you by your swollen(Tennis size naturally)balls

I must be the odd one out again but she doesn't do anything for me at all

I agree with Buttsie that 6-1 in what amounts to a two horse race for betting purposes is indeed a decent price.

Don't get me wrong I think Federer is the better player by far and may well win but Hewitts no muppet. He's a former Wimbledon and US Open champ.

Hewitt is arrogant but then aren't most sportsmen at the top? You need an abundance of sell belief and confidence to get there and there's a fine dividing line between confidence and arrogance.

Betting to me is all about getting value and Buttsie has a point. There is a bit of value there.
