It was, and Ronnie B took it a little personally, as Ronnie C outlined in a documentary a while back.

It was probably the intro to that sketch that wound him up, after a shedfull of smutty innuendo they go into a song that starts like this:

HORNY-PORNO-THOLOGISTS.
I'VE GOT A NICE PAIR OF BIN-ACKU-LOCU-ARSE

and so on - I remember me and bro watching it over and over laughng when NTNON was repeated in 1995, and he was more or less unaware of the Two Ronnies
If you go onto Google, and search "two ninnies ornithologists" you will find a link to the "chilledcream" forum where someone has helpfully printed the words to whole sketch...and it transfers into words very well!
