I just read my earlier post and your reply Mr Woody. I feel ashamed of myself. I have sat an thought about what I wrote and realised it was childish and unfair. I wrote that post without thinking and with a belly full of booze.

I too have been decorating my flat but to be honest more drinking than decorating was done. Hence my bad temper and hasty stupidity when posting.

As you know I am a huge admirer of this site and the people who put the work in to it and all who post. I can only offer my apologies to all at BGAFD Towers and the un-named poster who has already reached out to me with an olive branch which I accepted(which makes my outburst even more inexcusable). Apologies to all. Feel free to delete my earlier rude and ill thought out post if you wish.

I feel like a tit. But at least I am prepared to be man enough to apologise (eh? Zasuna)

redecorating is a stressful business which can strain even the most robust individual to breaking point - especially when stray hairs keep coming out of the bloody brush!

Thanks for that. Its even worse if you have a dog as the hairs get under the coat of paint. Its enough to drive any man insane. And enough to make any dog cower in the corner wondering why he is getting shouted at.

Ill be back to B&Q in a few hours. Might stop at the off-licence on the way back (hair of the dog - geddit?). Few hours sleep first. Gloss fumes make you feel funny.

Your not wrong about those bloddy paint brushes eventhe expensive ones are crap.Still we persist i've be at it for 14 months and its looking good according to feng shui that is,

Lime green Kitchen,Dining Room
Yellow hallway
Blue toilet,laundry,bathroom
dark grey lounge
light grey second bedroom
blue third bedroom
apricot master bedroom

And then there's the total overhall of the yard....
the conversion of the shed into a Rumpus Room(padded Walls)

I've got a very bad sense of direction when it comes to Darts
and when I lose I prefer to punch padded walls rather than plasterboard-its a bitch having to replace walls on a weekly basis.
