Gay 'Marriage'
Re: Gay 'Marriage'
I do ... but not exactly from a point of participation.

Is it true that Ken Livingstone is introducing a congestion charge waiver for gays and lesbians bearing special number plates on their cars?

I wouldn't know ... I've not watched C4, apart from the odd news broadcast, for the last 15 years ... so what programmes they put on are a mystery to me.
As for gay men ... they still account for 80% of all HIV cases diagnosed
11% of gay men were HIV in this sample
As for Gay Marriage ... it's funny how liberal California has banned it on a two thirds majority in a referendum .... the only place left in the US where it's legal is Massachusetts and that was because of a civil rights case in the courts ... and that is to be overturned next year after a referendum of the people is held ( the outcome is a foregone conclusion).
Try putting gay marriage to a vote of the people in the UK and it would not get the go ahead.

Re: Gay 'Marriage'
nachovx, if 80% of all HIV cases relate to gay men, then why would we want to not make it easier for them to have advantages from monogamous relationships? Surely, the more gay men in a long term relationship the better and if they get some of the advantages that hetero sexual couples do then that can only be an encouragement.
