e-bay dispute? advice / help needed
Re: e-bay dispute? advice / help needed
I only deal through pay-pal , i know it's a few quid more but at least you know you've got your money before you send , that and i've never sold owt dodgy or without full details if it's scuffed , scratched or marked in anyway . JJ .

Been on Ebay for 4 years, had 2 dodgy sellers and a couple of pain in arse buyers in about 1100 transactions. The art is, be honest with descriptions when selling, and read auctions very well when buying. Look at how they want paying etc, if you think p&p is too high, don't bid. No good winning an auction and then moaning about anything that is detailed in the auction.
I've bought & sold from China, US, Canada, Israel and most of Europe with few problems, remember if something looks too good to be true, it probably is, so avoid.

what were the german sellers like?
Re: e-bay dispute? advice / help needed
Just go through paypal and do a dispute there.or go through ebay .
I have bought last year a Olympus E10 and that was no problem.sound like the seller knew it was a dodgy item.
also remember this..... feedback stays on the ebay site for 90 days from auction end....so to save a bad feeback make a note of the time and date the feedback will run out ( 90 days leter) then go in at the last seconds and leave a well bad feedback, thay way you wont get a bad one back( unless you already done feedback)

The biggest problem with any dispute is unless you can visit them in person they can thumb their nose at you and thats that.if that results in them getting suuspended doesn't matter as the real dodgy bastards will comeback under a new identity and hijack another users excellent feeback record while passing off their less than excellent goods

Only ever sold to Germany, no problems at all. I always specify that for outside UK I only accept paypal in sterling so getting paid is not a problem.
