In one of his newspaper columns, George decided to attack the tattooed, pierced Millie Tant woman who in the Scottish Parliament represents one half of his home city, Dundee, for being rather lairy. When another journalist approached said lady about his comments, she seemed quite bewildered.

If I contributed to the bile aimed at Whitely (and I admit I wasn't a huge fan of his), then I apologise. Most of the people I "hate" I hate because I'm aware of them. I don't really wish them dead; I just never want to see them or hear about them again.

I suppose in a way our hate gives them some power over us.

I try never to use the word hate, as it is such a powerful word, I'd never use it about someone I didn't know personally, and even then I could struggle to think of people I could use it against, horrible word that makes more a statement against me than them

i've never also slagged off someone on here that died (or anyone really) I just don't see the need or benefit in it, I find it distasteful, I try to live my life as I would want someone to see me, if I died, no matter how opposing our views were, we have the right to express them, and I would respect that, as we live in a free society

OK, I'll admit, on a purely physical level, there was something about Miss Marsh that was drawing my gaze. Sure she looked like a slappa, but in an old fashioned sensual way - which is always beguiling. On the other hand, cancelling that out, her demeanour was loud, lairy, slaggy and obnoxious.
