Billy,
I haven't had the pleasure of dealing with the CSA either, thank goodness.

The CSA is just the usual bunch of Government Department shitheads who are only interested in chasing the "easy targets" and screwing them for everything they can get.
The sooner the CSA is scrapped the better.

Good luck mate.

I'll try again. But don't have a go at me if I'm not up to date....I did say that in my initial post.
I think the CSA can initiate claims for payment irrespective of what either the man or the woman want. It doesn't have to be because "there's a spiteful, vengeful woman on the other end telling them too?"
If they think the man (or the woman, in some cirumstances) is not paying enough they will over-rule legal agreements.

Update

Post by titanic »

Ok guys here is the update and for anyone going through this a few good points of law.
First off arrived at court to be met outside by the csa case offficer
Sha had a quick chat with me and asked why I had not seen my kids in 5 yrs (lol) I was amazed I explained I had had " shared care " for the last five years and had done as much if not more than my ex.
It turned out my ex had decided to just file a claim in april 2005 for the sake of it (to piss me off cos we had an argument)
So know the law side of things
Shared care is not rocognised by the csa one parent must be the resident parent meaning the other parent is liable to pay for the care of the child at any time the other parent makes a claim or the csa.
Now the crazy thing it is not who looks after the children most but quite simply who holds the child benifit book.
So if you have your kids five days a week and your ex has them 2 then you are still liable to pay her all be it on a reduced level due to the no of days you have the children
You can not make a claim against her as long as she has the child benefit book.
Now the csa were applying for a liabilty order against me which would have given them some of the powers listed below
1 Have my driving licence revoked
2 Have my passport revoked
3 Obtain a charing order against my house
4 Comital to prison for up to six weeks for each non payment
The list goes on and on
Im not being funny but I think the law here as gone f***ing mad
Anyway I defended myself and thank god got a judge not a magistrate.
He was amazed the csa would bring a case in front of him without checking the facts and refused the liabilty order and ordered the csa to reappear in feb with proof of the claim .
Who knows the outcome of the case but at least I had my day in court but what pisses me off is even though I have done everything right by the kids since day one I still end up in court.
However on a much lighter note me and Angie had fixed a date for the wedding and it will be next July
Cheers
Billy Ryan

Don't apologise for being pissed off with these iniquities. It's the politically correct, non-productive, middleclass cunts of the state, politics, and public sector who are to blame for your woes. Of course what's at the seat of all this nonsense is their divi doctrine that 'wimmin' are ALWAYS the demeaned 'victims' and men are ALWAYS evil exploiters and oppresses - hence the iniquitous 'positive discrimination'. We know how divi and irrational middleclass feminists can be, but you might have thought that their men folk would be, well, men, and not stand for this shit - but the fucking spineless Nancy boys buy into it hook line and sinker. What a set of twats.

Don't stand for it. Be angry. Tell anyone who'll listen. Don't vote for any political parties that will maintain this sorry status quo. Sooner or later the passions of an apathetic citizenry will become so aroused by the whole panoply of barmy PC iniquities and 'Newspeak' that they will cry - 'Enough is enough!"

Titanic, well done.
Goes to show that arming yourself with some knowledge pays off.
