Am I the only one who gets embarrassed whenever a football competition draws near when the media drags out footage from '66 and starts interviewing the players. I'm sure other countries must laugh at us as we cling to this 40 year old victory and milk it for all it's worth, what has Geoff Hurst got to tell us that we haven't heard many times before?
I wonder if the other winners keep harping on about their victories or is it an English thing.
