The Cinema in question for J.L.was THE TABOO in Little Newport Street,London,WC2 back in the mid-70's,situated in the basement.
They showed H/C daily (yes, the REAL thing)it lasted for about a year before being closed down...
...so not really worth taking out a 'life membership'was it?..
It was reputed to have many 'famous' faces amongst the audience on any given day...if your out there you must remember this club well!...A little gem while it lasted-sadly,now part of history.

having lurked a long time I finally have something interesting (?) to add.

In the early 70's a club called the Fantasy opened in Danbury St in Islington. It subsequently moved and became the Fantasy II just down the road from the Angel tube. Right from the beginning it showed non stop hard core, initially with loops and then in the 80's/90's videos. I can always remember being amazed seeing movies which were obviously made in the UK and by extension must have had UK actresses in them: I was blown away the first time I saw Miss Bohrloch and realised that MM did h/c.
Fantasy II was still around in the early 90's.
As well as the Willow there was also another club in St John Street in Smithfield. I can't remember the name but it was the one which was firebombed leading to several deaths.

oh yea of little faith.....

As I am typing this I am putting these into envelopes and they will be sent tonight by first class post.

Lets just hope that all who have complained about the delays in me sending them TWO MOVIES TOTALLY FREE OF CHARGE will be as quick to complete the reviews as they committed to doing on applying.

Incidentally "pocketrocket" the email address and name you are using did not apply to receive these so I wouldnt hold my breath

JJ - I have your address etc here and they will be posted tonight as stated above.

Once again I am sorry for the delays which have been due to personal problems which were slightly higher up my list of priorities than this.

My Ancient Greek etymology is a little rusty, but isn't that eponym overly-modest?
We now have TWO masively-brained individuals who have suddenly come out of the woodwork.
Lose Zas, get these two guys.......
....a pretty good trade?

I have signed, and returned, an (apparently) legally-biding document to provide a review of the VCD upon receipt.....aside from which, I ALWAYS try to honour my promises. Any gentleman should....
I get several vids per month, free of charge, anyway.
And, are you the same 'Jason' down the bottom here? (NO funny cracks, please........).
I look forward to receipt of...........
