Hello Guys, not getting it right . This time the problem is that my PC is mute. In the past when watching porn ot anything else hit the mute button. Now sometimes this is on the DVD Player or the Windows mute button. Have been through all my medial istallations and cannot find whay it is silent.Can anyone assit please

If you are using XP, on one of your menus should be an option Volume Control. Select it.
This should bring up a largish window with 5 slider controls.
At the bottom of each slider is a "mute" or "mute all" button, Make sure it is not selected.
Also on your blue bar along the bottom of the main windows desktop you may have a "speaker" icon (on the right).
Select that and from the small window make sure mute is not selected there.

If you are using xp try a system restore to a date before you lost sound.

Hello tried that did not work, tearing my hair out The DVD Player for the tV has deceided to stop working as well

turn the sound up on the speakers

Try booting in Safe Mode, delete audio driver(s) from device manager, shut down then restart normally. During start driver will be re-installed.

Hello Did not work was unable to complete it properly. Just me useless at this sort of thing

Well that suggests the driver is the problem.
See if there is an update on the net.
