i pod nano help?

Dunno if anyone out there can help with this?..i've had an ipod for 18months and have decided to get an ipod nano for xmas but when i attatch it to my pc i get a message saying that it won't work without itunes 7.0 please download from itunes or run it off of the disc that came with the ipod....A/ i don't want to install itunes 7.0 cos i don't have broadband and it will take all day to download and B/the nano didn't have a disc with it...is there anyway around this problem...many thanks in advance..LB

I've got a copy of iTunes 7 on CDR - it's the latest one with the bug fixes on it - but you'll have to wait a week for it as I've already lent it to someone who doesn't have broadband!

Apple have kept the prices and size of the packaging down by not including some of the accessories that they did previously.

Got a usb pen? Go to your local library and use their PCs. You have to be a member and book in advance but it won't cost you.
