Y'all takin' me back to my heavy metal days as I read these posts. In the mid 1980s while I was in a music program in college I had a white friend who had went to see them (Saxon) in concert. He was a drummer who was HEAVILY influenced by Saxon's drummer in his playing. Though I consider myself a drummer as well I also played bass guitar and joined him in playing "You Ain't No Angel". Yeah, them was the good old days.

It's Nigel Glockler, and yes, a fantastic drummer. Check out the "Live: Innocence" dvd from 1986.
