saw a bit yesterday evening it seems he could be very tempermental and violent.

Once had the job of trawling west end bars looking to get him back to do a show when I found him I ended up getting pissed with him before he would come back to the studio. He was brilliant when he got on but I was useless for two days.

Muswell you sound like the kind of chap who has had the kind of life that would keep me chatting to you in a bar to the point where I was useless for two days!! What a great story. Did you meet any of the other greats from that era? All ways hoped there is a heaven so i can sit and smoke a pipe with Eric Morcambe

I met Eric Morcambe a couple of times when we travelled of few floors in a lift on the first occassion he did his trick of holding out his hand as if to shake then pulling it back to adjust his glasses when you put yours out. Nothing earth shattering but it amused me.
I would drop a few more names but then I'd have nothing left to say!
