Hey sorta following on from a previous reply of mine. Was once told a story that during the filming of the Persuaders the TV network involved was desperate to promote the two stars as great friends in real life. Even though,when the cameras where not rolling,Roger Moore would only ever refer to Tony Curtis as "That Hungarian horse fucker"

Does any one know if this is true.....Muswell im looking at you young man!!

I worked briefly with both of them, separately, some years ago, and they were both the most charming of men. So it wouldn't surprise me if its true.
Another TV teaming that didn't get on was the two blokes in 'CHiPs'.

Living as you do on the other side of the pond, cjj, you might not know of Mrs Merton, a chat show that ran here a few years ago. She was interviewing the wife of Paul Daniels, the not particularly attractive magician. 'Well, Debbie Magee, what was it that first attracted you to the millionaire Paul Daniels?'
