Cheltenham Gold Cup

Post by Jacques »

Off to Cheltenham tomorrow for the Gold Cup on Friday. Anyone any tips (apart from it's a mugs game and the only winners are the bookies)?

Quite fancy Exotic Dancer.

Detroit City has already finished well down the pack Ace so wouldn't imagine that would be too great a punt!!
I would say the two biggest certs to come are Kauto Star for the Gold Cup and Black Jack Ketchum for the Stayers Hurdle, basically unless they tip up they are home and hosed.
I wouldn't say Gold Cup Day is the best day to go as it is standing room only and can be a bit hectic so make sure you have everything planned beforehand and don't get caught up in the emotion (for betting purposes).
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

Jacques enjoy your trip to Cheltenham. Im not havin a bad couple of days, I had Voy Por Ustedes in the Champion Chase today, as well as a 16/1 winner yesterday in Sublimity in the Champion Hurdle. My tip for Thursday is Mighty Man in the world Hurdle, you can get 6/1 for him. He was 4l behind My way De Solzen in the race 12 months ago, and My Way De Solzen won at Cheltenham yesterday. Get on Jacques.
