Film music by Nino Rota: The Godfather, La Strada, Eight and a Half, La Dolce Vita, Amacord, Juliet of the Spirits. Bellissima.

Lovely piece of music that theme from The Godfather...You should check out Jerry Goldsmiths The Agony & The Ecstacy...I saw him perform that live at The Barbican 15 years ago...and The Marlin from Islands In The Stream.

So somebody else has got that album as well.
I remember reading at the time that the actors and extras had to be protected from real gangs who descended on the locations to watch the filming, and apparently weren't very impressed by the imposters.
