I can't believe this bollocks is the lead story on todays news. "A few houses got damaged, and insurance companies might have a low 7 figure pay out".

When this happened a few years ago in Dudley (which was more powerful, btw), our reaction locally was "I thought a lorry crashed into the building, but it hadn't, so I went back to sleep", not "Oh no, a few pensioners have had a few slates knocked off their roof, we'll have to condemn their houses"

This is a story for page 19 of The Sun, not main headline on the evening news. I guess this is what they mean by 'slow news day'.
Are you actually speaking english, or are you just making up words as you go along? I do that too...

I felt it, in Canterbury. House was well-shaken but no damage...

Latest estimate is ?15million quids worth of damage in Folkestone, but what about the channel tunnel as this runs beneath the Dover straights where the centre of the earthquake was apparently it sustaned no damage it makes you wonder.
