Hey y'all
No not a Mike Freeman style post about the attacks on our civil liberties, but about the band. Big woohoo they are all mates again and back on tour. Well whats the big deal? Is it just more or are they one of the most over rated British bands of all time? Off the top off my head I can think of at least five bands from that era that I would be more excited about getting back together.
I for one hope that Stewart Copeland gets the hump with that poncy Geordie dwalf and gives him another good hiding again soon and puts an end to this nonsense once and for all.
But of course this is only my very humble opinion and being little more than a spunk bubble compared to some of you folks on here,I would be interested as to what the general opinion.
Good weekend to all!! Get them caravans rolling!!

P.S Sorry to any "Poncy Geordie Dwalfs" who may frequent this site. I mean you no ill will

Re: The Police
You know, I'm always for groups getting back together but the thing that gets me is they don't sound the same as they did back in the day. Case in point, Cream, and a few R&B groups I've seen over the years, Cameo, The Bar Kays, Confunkshun, P-Funk All Stars, Earth Wind and Fire.

Re: The Police
I like The Police. Come to think of it I like their solo efforts too. Stewart Copeland went onto do film soundtracks for Wall Street and Talk Radio so Oliver Stone must like him too.
I'm sure their re-union is for those who reminisce about a bygone time during the 80's. Personally I think they are mega huge and deservedly so.

Much like Genesis, they maybe see themsleves in danger of being forgotten or rendered irrelevent by retrospection and that whole rock history elite.
Regardless of all the success of their best years, in was the innovators elsewhere that were rewriting the books, and history always favours them more.
