Gordon Brown next PM
Gordon Brown next PM
Cant trust him sorry.
Re: Gordon Brown next PM
Dont applogise Srevie, he's a Twat, he's also an unaposed unelected PM, so really a pretend PM, he's only there because nobody else could be arse'd.
In my view the top job should be an election issue, regardless of party etc, anyway were stuck with the cunt now, knob jockey or not.
I can see the builders already repairing Hadrians wall, they dont even want the cunt up there.

You say that, but hand-on heart who can say they trust themselves, let alone someone else !
You can't say that, given a situation in which you know the consequences of your actions will be negative and harmful to yourself, you can't trust yourself not to make the wrong decision.
The stakes are higher for Brown, but think about the concept of trust before you say you can't trust him. Think about trust and politics .. Brown can talk about 'soul' (maybe he's the new Godfather of Soul?) but it's just words. Judge him by his actions.

Much as I disliked (and still do dislike) the Tories, when Thatch became PM I gave her the benefit of the doubt for six months before deciding that she was an evil witch.
We'll wait to see if there are any differences between Broon and Bliar. Being less charismatic, he may be more sneaky but in a less blatant way. One thing, if he does screw up the job then Hadrian's Wall will be rebuilt on a permanent basis. And I suspect it will be the English inviting us to leave the party.

It was interesting to hear on the radio this morning that some
of the Scots saw Gordon Brown as Mr Style compared to Alex Salmond

Not forgetting the fact that the constituents who voted for him as an MP are governed by the Scottish parliament and not Westminster.
And his fabulous track record as chancellor, flogging large sections of our gold reserve when the price was at a 25 year low, And announcing the proposed sale in advance to drive the price lower.
Nicking ?5bn p.a. from pension funds.
Putting our children in hock for the next 30 years with P.F.I.
Increasing the 'Turkey Army' of public employees to Soviet levels while refusing
to tackle the unlimited liabilities of their pension scheme which we pay for.
The Pension thief as PM........Spiffing!
Ps. Bandwaggon Dave and Blue labour are just as useless by the looks of it.

I hope he does a good job.
Some people will be willing him to muck up, but it's our nation he's managing, so lets get behind the guy eh?

Same old, same old.
Every PM is the same...Promises one thing and does another. They are all getting chauffeur driven round in their rolls royces, wearing their 3 grand suits and living in their big posh houses so none of them really care enough about the real people in this country to actually do anything half decent for us except raise our taxes to line their fat cat pockets.

That goes for most the MP's though. Decent wage, good expenses
and hang about a while and along comes a good job when you quit
Not to mention a hefty pension
