I love the Irish, I was lucky enough to work out in Northern Ireland in the early nineties many times.
And they treated me so well it was like being royalty.
I was taken out there once to perform on St Patrick's Day, but they took me out on the piss during the day, by the time I was supposed to be on stage I was slumped over a night club table swearing at them and blaming them for my disgusting condition. Not only did they still pay me, they booked me back again.
I know there is all the IRA and WW history, but I really do not think us Brits can harp on about anyone after our little peace keeping trip to the middle east that's going on right now.
And if there are any Irish posters I am always up for a drop of Guinness as a gratuity.
God bless the Irish..

William Joyce, 1906-46, Lord Haw Haw. Irish-American who made the mistake of acquiring a British passport under false pretenses, which made him subject to British Law and the hangman.

If anyone who doesn't like Guinness or Jameson's and happens to have loads of it spare, give me a call, I'll find a good home for it..i.e. ME.
When I used to work abroad, out of the gang I was working in, I was the only non Irishman. Apart from one awkward bastard, I have to say they are brilliant; and the Celtic girls... well, say no more.!thumbs up!

I went to the Old Jameson Distilary near Cork and spend nearly a grand in the shop on the stuff
It is said that both love and truth walk hand in hand. But if the need is great enough, can we learn to love a lie?
