Mandy Moore's version of "Drop the Pilot" is quite decent.

Jewels "Sweet home Alabama" is also listenable.

Blondie did great covers of Get it On by T Rex, Heroes by Bowie, and Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash. I went to one of their concerts this year when they covered Please Please Me.

I like it when a really good band, who have their own great material, cover a song just because they like it, not because they have to.
