The 'provinces' feel much the same about London.

Since many people north and south of the border believe Scotland is an important component of the UK, why should denying that belief and voting for independence be seen as bravery?

If or when it comes to a vote, I will consider what I feel is best for my country and make my decision on that basis, not because someone I do not know will consider me a coward.

1) The vote isn't about 'independence';
2) To consider carefully before casting one's vote and then deciding to
vote for the option you disfavour isn't cowardice- it's democracy.

Well then, it's up to you to persuade the 'cowardly' majority.
Good luck :- )
