Re: Wales 34 - 38 Fiji
Well there is one decent rugby team in Wales that finished as champions
Congratulations to the Celtic Crusaders

Re: Anyone in Wales watch Srum V?
The problem with welsh rugby is we have a national set-up with a village mentality. We need a tough no nonsense southern hemisphere coach to sort the mess out.
The players have to take part of the blame. After the grand slam of 2005 it went to the players heads. The ousting of Mike Ruddock was proof of that! Finaly their needs to be a national Rugby tzar to look at the whole of welsh rugbyand sort it out! I live in mid wales, their is talent here and in north Wales but we are totaly ignored! Maybe their should be a proper mid/north wales region to help promote and harness the talent out there. The Scarlets were supposed to repesent us but have not played a single game in north Wales since 2005!

You're quite welcome to employ Matt Williams if you wish. That worked really well for Scotland.

Scotland just managed to hang on and beat Italy. In fact Italy should have won but they fluffed a penalty with two minutes left.
Let's be honest, all the home union teams were out classed in many aspects of the game. It just represents how poor the standard is in the British Isles at the moment. I don't expect England to beat Australia and Scotland will be underdogs against Argentina.

Re: Anyone in Wales watch Srum V?
I wouldn't want Wales to employ a foreign coach. Yes, in the past they have had some success with overseas coaches, but it was only ever going to be a temporary solution. Those coaches saw their involvement with Wales as a stepping stone to coach at a higher level.
Re: Anyone in Wales watch Srum V?
There are no coaches in Wales good enough at the moment to do the job. Whoever gets the job should be given a 4 year contract until the end of the next world cup. I would even put clive woodward in the frame. He is single minded and not afraid to ruffle feathers.
Re: Anyone in Wales watch Srum V?
Clive Woodward? I don't know what reception he'd get if he got the national coach job?
I thought he has turned his back on rugby and moved to administration in football?

Clubs seem more concerned for the instance fix and employing legions of foreign players at the expense of young home grown players.
