The Ausies are way more talented, but by the 68th minute they just looked like they'd run out of ideas.

Re: Well done England
England won by having the better defence! The Aussies missed a penalty - albeit a difficult one - with 90 seconds remaining.
England were 50-1 against winning - so here is proof that, sometimes, the underdog can win through.

Re: Well done England
Australia way more talented than England?
Not on what i saw last night
Their 2nd real game of the tournament and they were found wanting in the forwards
I've never seen a more inept display of getting to the breakdown but thats to take credit away from the english who out played yhem in almost every facet of the game and if not fot the out of sorts kicking from jonny would have won by plenty more
Seems the whole touranment has been turned upside down
France 20- NZ 18 after trailing 13-0
makes for an interesting semi france v england

Did you hear the roars of the French crowd?
No surprise there- except that the match was in Cardiff!
As they said on the TV - a good night to be in Cardiff; and, of course, a good night for Cardiff publicans! I expect Kronenbourg, Stella and wine shot off the shelves..not such a good night for Brains' sales, though..!

Talented as in play and technique Deuce. England just had more mentally on the day.
O'Neil's comments about 'hating the English' kinda backfired. Maybe he ought to keep his gob shut in future.
I see a SA V France final myself, but you never know!

The Aussies aren't 'independent' as they still have the Queen as head of state, and a governor general.
