To my knowledge, there has never been a reported case of Aids this side of the Atlantic. In the States, some of the male studs were bisexual - not over here. Aids is a puffs disease. Ok "puffs" sexual habits are more likely to transmit the virus, heterosexuals can and do contract HIV. Maybe it helps Marcus to feel safe by believing that men can only contract it from other men or needles, although heterosexual men are the lowest risk group they can contract HIV.

HIV is a virus that infects a type of white blood cells called helper T-lymphocytes, it uses them to reproduce itself and in the process kills them, unluckily the T-lymphocytes make up part of our immune system. The virus reproduces and spreads to the point where your body's production of the cells cannot keep this stage is known as AIDS.

HIV is not "simply a breakdown in the immunity system" it is a virus that uses and destroys a certain part of our immune system. And there is a massive difference between a lowered immune system because of poor diet, neutropenia etc and the effects of AIDS.

Without going into a great medical whatsis that I am not qualified for, I would simply state that the Virus has to be passed directly into the bloodstream by way of intravenious injection (junkies) or Puffs who break blood vessels when they fuck each other up the arse.
As for "making me feel safer", what kind of remark is that?

(a) I have never been sick in my life due to an amazingly fortunate immune system, and
((b) Even if I were not in that fortunate position, I would still maintain my position inasmuch that in my "hat" as model agent No-one has ever contracted ANYTHING because I respect them and their well-being.

And I am careful and considerate who I deal with.
