No, it looks a load of cack - much like 300 was. I love the idea of a Beowulf film, but I want a proper film and a Grendel as terrifying and iconic as the ?Alien? has become.

I'm looking forward to this one, I like films that do something a bit different, and I've not seen anything before that animates the actors with their own features intact.

Well I thought 300 was good. (there was no way of getting 50,000 in full battle gear before 21st century computer animation) Of course, I hate it when they get history wrong, but Mikes got a whole thread on that.
